Colm Hoban has been appointed as Director, eircom Government Markets, and will lead eircom's Government team in managing commercial relationships with all departments and agencies. Colm has 25 years experience in the communications industry. He built and led eircoms solutions function to provide design, implementation and service management capability for Enterprise and Government customers. He was formerly Director of the Enterprise Market with responsibility for eircom's top 300 customers and has held senior role in management accounting, financial systems development and business development.

Clive Ryan has been appointed General Manager of the Finance Sector within the Enterprise Markets Business Development team, serving eircom's major clients in the Banking, Insurance and Professional Services sector in Ireland. Prior to this, Clive was Director of Advisory Services within eircom. Before joining eircom, Clive worked with Microsoft and Accenture. At Microsoft he led the Ireland Sales and Marketing teams for two of the significant product groups within the Company. At Accenture, Clive was a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Consulting Practice advising international, blue chip organisations on Business and I.T. Strategy, Business Transformation and associated infrastructure implementation initiatives (in Ireland, U.S, Europe and South Africa).

Alex Campbell has been appointed Head of Services Sector focussing on the Manufacturing and Services Sectors. Alex joined eircom in 2008. Prior to this, he held a number of senior management positions for large and small organisations. In IBM, he managed sales teams for the Insurance and Public Sector areas. He was also head of Market Development, (Public Sector) for IBM Europe and Head of Sales Operations at IBM, Ireland. He held numerous director posts for smaller software development organisations, including that of Vice President of software development for GMAC (a General Motors subsidiary) and co-founder and CEO of NewCode Technologies.

Sam Butler has been appointed Principal - Security where he will work with eircom's clients to develop and implement integrated ICT security solutions tailored to their requirements. Prior to joining eircom in May 2009, Sam held numerous senior roles in the area of IT operations, Security, Governance and Compliance, within the banking, financial and online payment industries, in companies such as Brokat, Encorus and First Data.

He has successfully used ITIL, Cobit and ISO/IEC standards to improve IT operations and has managed multiple compliance and audit programs based on standards such as ISO/IEC 9001, 14001, 20000 and 27001, PCI DSS, Sarbanes Oxley, SAS70 and Data Privacy. Sam also bring numerous qualifications to the role such as; - ITIL Version 2 / 3 (Foundation and Manager) ; CISM / Certified Information Security Manager ; CISA / Certified Information Systems Auditor ; Cobit 4.1 / VAL IT 2.0 (Foundation) Certified ISO27001 Lead Auditor and Implementer, Certified ISO20000 Auditor and Consultant, Certified ISO9001 / 14001 Lead Auditor and Prince 2 (Foundation and Practitioner).
